As we get ready for this three night event that begins Sunday December 9th with The Flash, continues on Monday December 10th with Arrow and it will wrap up on Tuesday December 11th with Supergirl. Here´s everything that we`ve got on this years crossover.
The characters that will appear in this year´s event are:
- Batwoman that will be played by Ruby Rose
- John Wesley Shipp that will return to play our beloved Jay Garrick from earth 3
- Superman played by Hoechlin
- Lois Lane played by Tulloch
Asides from them, we´ll have like always the crew of Arrow, Supergirl and The Flash. Sadly, Legends won´t be joining the crossover this year. However, there will be a Legends cameo on the third episode. Todd Helbing, “The Flash” show runner explained that they won´t include Legends because last year they decided to do something more ambitious that took a lot of work and that this year they wanted something easier and simpler. Besides, crossing Legends is harder because they have to cross the whole cast.
Even though it´s smaller and simpler than previous crossovers, it´ll be just as satisfying to the fans. Grant said. Also, Helbing added, last year´s “Crisis” felt like a four hour movie, meanwhile, “Elseworlds” are more individual episodes. It´s like three chapters of one story, but they are al kind of unique to their own show.
In this year´s crossover, as it´s shown in the teaser, Oliver (Amell) and Barry (Gustin) will swipe lives and the only two heroes are the ones who know that they´re in the wrong lives with the wrong powers. Of course, they will face a threat and Kara (Benoist) gets pulled in because as her alien friend, is the only one who can see Barry and Oliver for what they really are.
This crossover will make us laugh our socks off and we can´t wait to watch it!
